It's so hard to concentrate on secondary school when you've clicked "accept offer" to one of the top universities in the country... I mean WORLD. Yes, I'm going to UBC. Finals week is nearing and all i can do is dream about NEXT year. IB does not allow one to develop "senioritis" as my friend calls it...

This lag time between now an April has me on pins and needles. California schools take their sweet time. So does UBC.

The only thing that has changed is:

1. I'm 'legally responsible for my own actions'
2. I'm an ADULT
3. I can legally drink in like, 2 provinces.
4. I can no longer say "Jeez, there are children present!"
5. I'm one year closer to death.

I was just in Toronto, and finally got to see the TIFF box museum. I was dissapointed that the Tim Burton exhibit was no longer up, but I did get to see the Mary Pickford collection. She was a true film artist and though she was called 'America's Sweetheart' she remained a proud Canadian her whole life. Boy that's inspiring. I also got to visit Buffalo, NY to see some crazy family members. You have to love NY.
